Moore Park has been a favorite destination for U.S. Kids Golf families in the Sydney area, now it will host the inaugural U.S. Kids Golf Australian Open. The world’s best young golfers not only get to play, they connect with old friends and make new ones, while experiencing everything the Sydney has to offer. Whether you are bringing siblings or only the golfer of the family, Sydney is an exciting time for all. The area offers family-friendly activities off the course, making it the perfect location for a family vacation.
Invitations with an unlock code will be emailed to qualified players with Green, Orange and Blue Status based on the Priority Status dates below. Players must have met the USKG Scoring Requirement. Please note that receiving an invitation does not guarantee a player’s spot, as entries into all events are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Each Status group’s opportunity to enter will end at 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time, on the date published.
- Green Status – September 1 – January 11, 2017
- Orange Status – September 1 – January 11, 2017
- Blue Status – September 1 – January 14, 2017
- Open Application – September 18, 2016 – January 5, 2017
- **Late Registration – January 11-14, 2017
A player’s age on December 31, 2016 will determine his/her age group for the duration of the event.
$145 USD for 9-hole players and $195 USD for 18-hole players (includes tournament rounds, tee gifts and awards). The official practice round is not included in the entry fee. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the duration of the tournament.
During the Open Application period, all persons that have met the scoring requirement may apply to enter the U.S. Kids Golf Australian Open. Eligible players will have received an invitation with a registration code.
If you do not have Priority Status but would like to request entry, please submit The Australian Open Application Form for your player. Your application will be reviewed and an email confirmation will be sent detailing a registration code.
During the late registration period, an additional $15 will be added to the registration fee. Players that sign up during the late registration period will not receive an opportunity to purchase a last name for their caddie bib and will be listed at the end of their age group, instead of alphabetically, on the scoreboard. All late registrants should visit the event homepage to view all important player information.
